Privacy policy

The numbers you type into the calculators stay in your browser. We record a few anonymous usage events and the emails people choose to send us.

What we collect

• Usage events: a random visitor id stored in your browser, the page path, the referring site, campaign tags in the link, the country (from the network), a rough device type, and actions such as using a calculator, downloading a PDF, opening the pricing page or the checkout. Your hours, bills, addresses, names and budget lines are not sent.
• Forms: the email address and message you send through the contact form, or the email you enter at checkout.
• Network address: used only to limit how many requests one network can send per day, stored as a salted one-way hash in a daily counter.

What we do not do

• No advertising, no selling or sharing of data, no tracking cookies.
• Your email is used only to reply to you or to send the one message about checkout you asked for.

Saved in your browser

Your budget sheet and your last calculator settings are kept in your browser’s local storage. We never receive them. Share links carry your numbers in the web address, so only share a link with people you want to see them.

Third parties

• Cloudflare hosts the site and its database and may measure page views in aggregate.

Spam protection

Forms have a hidden field that people never see and a short minimum time before a form can be sent. Automated posts that fill the field or send instantly are dropped. We also count submissions per network address per hour and per day, using a one-way hash of the address, to stop floods. No third-party spam check or captcha is used.

Your choices

To have your email or messages deleted, email support@movingtipcalculator.site. Clearing your browser’s site data removes the random visitor id and your saved budget.
